May Flowers

The May Challenge at Rock The Shot is flowers.  This photo continues to be my favorite flower photo.... not posed... just caught in the moment... still my favorite photos.  Miss O was just precious and her mommy was so generous in letting me take some candid shots of her.  Thank you.  And everyone, remember that innocence of your childhood when you still took time to stop and smell the flowers....

This week's theme for the I Heart Faces photo competition is Beautiful B & W.  Beautiful is such a subjective word.... but I personally can't think of anything more beautiful than a baby laughing a full-on belly laugh, especially when she's my granddaughter in her beautiful mother's arms.  For more beautiful photos check out I Heart Faces.

Pure Love

Rock the Shot is a fabulous forum for photographers. Not surprisingly, the theme for photo entries in February's contest is "Love."   Love is what I am always trying to capture in the photos I take of people.. whether it be with couples, parents and children, siblings, pets, etc.  I work to get them relaxed and try for a "catch" when they're not posing but just being REAL in the moment!  I have SO MANY favorites that I believe portray Love of so many different kinds, but this one just stands out to me from all the rest because it is so pure and raw.. motherly love at it's best.  Thanks mommy D for allowing me to share such a special photo with the world.  Check out more fabulous photographer's interpretations of LOVE at their wesite here: www.rocktheshotforum.com
